These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Three Dogs, a lesson-planning workspace for teachers (the “Service”), operated by Three Dogs (“Three Dogs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Who may use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old and be a teacher or other educator using the Service in a professional capacity. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
Early-access service
The Service is offered as an early-access product. It is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, may change or be interrupted, and is not guaranteed to be error-free or continuously available. Features may be added, changed, or removed.
Your content
You retain ownership of the classes, lessons, materials, notes, and other content you create or upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you, including sending relevant inputs to our AI providers to generate results (see our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for having the rights to any content you upload and for ensuring your use complies with your school or district policies and applicable law.
AI-generated content
- As between you and Three Dogs, you own the lessons and materials the Service generates for you from your inputs.
- AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. It is a draft, not professional or educational advice. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all output before using it with students.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in violation of any law or third-party rights;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
- upload content you do not have the right to use, or that is unlawful or harmful;
- use the Service to build a competing product or to resell access without our permission.
Third-party services
The Service integrates with third-party services, including Google Classroom. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
Plans and fees
The Service offers a free plan and a paid plan. The free plan includes a monthly allowance of newly generated lessons and materials, together with a one-time allowance of imported lessons; work you build from a lesson you already have does not count against that allowance. Current allowances and prices are shown on our pricing page.
We will never charge you without your having explicitly subscribed to a paid plan. Paid plans renew automatically for successive periods until cancelled, and you may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the period you have paid for.
Promotional or introductory pricing applies to the first paid period only. Unless we state otherwise in writing, subsequent periods renew at our then-current standard price for that plan; a promotional rate does not become your permanent rate. We may change plan allowances or prices, and will give notice before a change takes effect for you.
Reaching a free-plan limit, cancelling, or moving from a paid plan back to the free plan does not delete anything. Your existing lessons, materials, classes, and notes remain available to open, edit, export, and use.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, the license you grant us ends, and we will delete Your Content from active systems as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and Three Dogs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and provide reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Three Dogs is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
